Rice Paper Sky
Type: DIY Clay
Scent: Coconut rice milk
Last year, in the thick of the pandemic, I took my dog out for a walk and the sky was a starch white with pink, blue, and purple shining through as if by watercolor on a piece of rice paper. It was the first time in days I had left my house and colors looked more saturated and more crisp, as if I was seeing them for the first time.
The slime has a smooth, slay base with a clay top that is brushed with dye and then painted using scraps of rice paper. Each scrap is painted with watercolors and then splotched onto the top of the clay to create an effect like I saw that day. Scraps of painted rice paper will come with your slime. They will dissolve into your slime without much effort, or you can keep them as a keepsake. Once mixed, this slime becomes sizzly heaven.
The scent is not sweet, more of a savory coconut and rice milk.
